After Palletized assisted us in moving two large towers from our facility each of which weighed in excess of 650,000 lbs. and were over 180 feet long, we became very comfortable with your capabilities. With the use of this facilities barge slips, you can move loads with unlimited weights. In August of '07, Peterson Power Systems came to Palletized Trucking Inc. to find a temporary home to perform conversion work on 12 Solar Turbines T60s. They were allocated for a large Power Generation contract that we were awarded in Costa Rica. From roughly August through November of '07, a bustle of activity swarmed around the PTI facility near Industrial Port of Houston. PTI offered is two primary Truck Maintenance warehouse to the main offices, as a facility for our several month lease of space. In addition to these facilities and the extremely close proximity to the ports we used for shipment, the staff at PTI's Industrial Way location took care of our immediate needs, which were many. From performing maintenance on our equipment chassis and tires, renting forklifts and scaffolding, hiring day labor, ordering and picking up parts from Grainger and other local electrical and mechanical suppliers, even providing office space to work from, PTI supported our operation through and through. I want to offer this letter as an extension of Peterson's gratitude to Palletized Trucking for your willingness to open your home to us and partner for this project. Palletized Trucking has held a partnership with Port Houston Elementary for many, many years. Port Houston Elementary is a neighborhood elementary school located next to the Port of Houston ship channel in a very industrialized part of the city. Many aesthetic items associated with many neighborhoods such as sidewalks, trees, and lush grasses simply do not exist. However, Palletized Trucking helps to better the lives of the students that attend Port Houston Elementary by giving monetary resources for playground equipment, school field trips, and other endeavors. The company also volunteers to help improve the community habitat and ensure that students are succeeding academically and socially.
